BioLike most of the Zexen knights, Borus comes from a wealthy Zexen family and grew up with a distaste for Grasslanders, referring to them as barbarians whenever possible. However, despite his noble upbringing, he had accepted his fellow knight Percival easily enough, despite his common background.
Borus first served the Zexen Knights under the command of Captain Galahad and Vice-Captain Pelize, but when they were killed in battle with some of the Grassland forces, his loyalty quickly fell upon the new and female captain, Chris Lightfellow. His devotion to his captain seemed to go beyond the common loyalty of a knight, however, he never explicitly owned up to or admitted anything of what his feelings towards her might have been.
Events began to quickly unfold with a peace treaty that was arranged to occur between Zexen and the Grassland tribes. However, it doesn't go as planned when the Grasslanders begin to attack, believing that they were tricked and believing that the Zexens had killed the chief of the Lizard Clan. Borus was infuriated by the sudden attack and by the time they had reached Karaya Village to provide a diversion, at the suggestion of Salome, he had enough anger in him for Sarah to use in manipulating him and the other knights in laying waste to Karaya.
After the attack, and once they all realized the severity of the damage they had done, Borus denied having slaughtered the civilians of the village. It wasn't until later, when Percival found him brooding in the storage room of Brass Castle, that he finally admitted to his part in the massacre. And he held onto his guilt until the final battle, when Chris reassured him that she still wanted him by her side.
